Beat Priorites

👮‍♂️🚸 Today, officers from the Ashby Beat Team carried out school patrols as part of our current Beat Priorities.

Officers 4516 LANG and 6443 Tipper visited Ashby Hill Top Primary School and Ashby Willesley Primary School, engaging with parents, staff and pupils 👋. During the patrols, officers offered words of advice to a small number of parents regarding parking.

However, there is no excuse for parking on the yellow zig‑zags❌⚠️ — these markings are there to keep children safe at busy drop‑off and pick‑up times. One vehicle was found parked in a dangerous position as seen in the photo. 

Meanwhile, other members of the beat team — 146 ALLSOPP and 6633 MASON — attended Packington Church of England Primary School. They carried out parking patrols and spoke with several parents about concerns raised by the school community 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️.

Our aim remains simple: to keep children safe and maintain a positive, visible presence around our local schools 💙🏫. We’ll continue conducting regular patrols and taking action where needed.
